Groot

Groot is a big beautiful puppy in training. Told he was Great Pyrenees and German Shepard. He has been potty trained since he was 5months old, but can tinkle when scared or excited to have guests over. He is trained in most basic commands such as, sit, come, out, down, leave it, go to bed and want a treat? Can be a little stubborn so he Can sometimes struggle, but is doing well. Is coming from a family of parents with a toddler preteen and 5yr old cat. So he is very playful but can be very rough when too excited. Groot loves attention and head and belly scratches. If he does not like something he will nip to let you know. Groot can be very vocal when he is not happy about something. He is crate trained. He is not leash trained has been on walks but can tend to bark at everyone and pull you. Has never aggressively bitten anyone, but will kind of growl and bark at strangers and new guests. When he gets to barking it can take a little to calm him down. He loves his toys and has no problem if someone were to grab it in front of him. He is fed by everyone in our household so no food aggression towards us. Groot enjoys playing with other dogs as far as we know. he has been fine with family members dogs when introduced and neighbors dogs he runs back and forth with them along the fence. He has a big backyard to run in. Can be a little destructive if left alone. Digs holes and finds things to chew on. Loves to chase the squirrels and birds. Does not like to be bathed, but once started and with some treats he will stay still and let you clean him up. Loves to play with the cat, but is much bigger so have to be careful. He is not gentle or careful with toddlers, but enjoys playing with our 10 year old. He loves to play with balls stuffed animals and chew toys.
